Aug 2026 The Hegde lab participated in its first DMB Retreat held on campus !
July 2026 The Hegde lab receives official NOA for NCI R00 on ‘Deconstructing pathogenic myelopoiesis in cancer immunosuppression and treatment resistance’. This pathway to independence award helps support our translation research on how myeloid cell expansion disrupts cancer therapies.
July 2026 Hegde Lab opens in the Department of Developmental and Molecular Biology (DMB) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The Hegde Lab is also part of the Cancer Dormancy Institute (CDI) within the Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center.
Feb 2026 Samarth attended and presented a short talk on their recent Nature paper at the Keystone Symposia on Myeloid Cells: Functional Heterogeneity with Therapeutic Promise held jointly with Keystone Symposia on Hematopoiesis (Keystone, Colorado).
